Knowledge I Can’t Really Act On
I know in my gut that something is coming. Something big. Something I’d rather not be in DFW for. And yet, I’m here. And I’m a little confused about that.
It seems that not all knowledge is given for the purpose of obvious action or reaction. We actually have the resources to pick up and relocate somewhere with significantly better climate and natural resources. Not like this baking concrete dustbowl.
I Change Blog Themes Like It’s Going Out of Style
Yes, this is my bazillionth blog theme change. I went from uber-simple to uber-complex and now I’m back to uber-simple. It’s tough when you don’t sit down and plan out a strategy from the beginning. I have since learned my lesson and I execute that principle with every client.
Liberty or Rebellion?
I have purposefully kept silent whenever my grandfather and others talk about our great national heritage. I do not voice my objections often, for I know that most will immediately brand me “unpatriotic” or worse, without ever having considered the actual meaning behind my words. And perhaps I’m wrong, but I cannot shake these nagging thoughts about our American heritage.
The Sad Part About Narnia
I just finished watching Prince Caspian. Despite the fact that the first half of the movie was a huge bore (and that the films could never live up to the books), I was still spun into a web of thoughts as the credits rolled.
Happy Friday to All

On this most wonderful Friday morning, I want to thank all of you for joining me each day online. It’s no small thing that we’ve formed our own community of sorts on Twitter and/or Facebook. I am grateful for Twitter because many of you are a comfort to me the moment I log in. I see you helping each other out and sharing your thoughts and feelings. Sharing and helping are key.
So as the weekend approaches, just know that I am grateful you are here, and I’d love to hear from you more often. I really SHOULD work on that post describing what I’m looking for most on Twitter, so you’ll know [mental note].
May your weekend be restful and joyful all at once.

My Daughter’s First Blog Post
I have no idea what it says, but she typed away furiously to the music of Miley Cyrus while we were giving Mama some time to relax.
